Red Hot Poker Description
Found wild in South Africa, this eye-catching plant was first brought to England in 1707 and is also commonly known as the Torch Lily. Small, tubular flower buds start out red, mature to orange and then fade to yellow. Dense spikes rise 48" in height on stout stems providing a dramatic display when grown in a space where the entire plant is visible. For best effect, plant in full sun directly in front of an evergreen background or as a stand-alone specimen.Kniphofia uvaria

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to delivery your orders via the USPS or FedEx based on your hardiness zone.. Large orders may be shipped in more than one package.
Bulb and perennial shipments direct from Holland are harvested in July and August dependent on the season and crop. Once fully inspected and packaged they are shipped direct to you in the most efficient manner to follow the dates above.
Garden hardgoods and Gift Certificates ship with in 4-7 day.
