Fair Maids of France Description

Rarely offered Dutch garden favourite.
Seldom seen in North American gardens, this unique and lovely variety sports low-growing, 8–10" stems with up to five petite, white, fully double flowers each in mid spring. After the foliage goes dormant in the summer, it returns late in the summer season and stays green all the way into next spring! Does best in average to moist soil, away from other plants that could cover Fair Maids of France with their leaves. They make a great floral display beneath deciduous trees or as a front border planting. Saxifraxa granulata 'Flore Pleno'
